My love for photography began at a very young age. Remember those little 110
cameras with the disposable flash that popped each cell until they were all used up?
I was so thrilled to have acquired one as my first camera second hand from a family
member. I recall the excitement of going on adventures that I could now capture in
pictures, and suddenly exploring my world took on a whole new meaning. As I grew
older and my skills and available technology improved, the ability to preserve images of
vacations, family events, and even simple backyard adventures became even easier. I
found a new motivation to seek out people, places, and things that would create unique I have carried this motivation into adulthood, and with the advent of digital photography it has become possible to express myself in ways never before imaginable. I enjoy witnessing important moments in the lives of people around me, and that passion is visible in the images I capture. Eventually others around me began to sense that passion, resulting in multiple requests to photograph weddings, personal events, and portraits. Each opportunity has allowed me to build upon the experience gained prior and I am grateful to those that have given me the chance to prove myself both artistically and professionally. I have been fortunate to have been involved in capturing many significant moments in the lives of family, friends, and total strangers, and eagerly await each new opportunity to capture the world around me in photographs. |
